TIPS & TRICKS
Clean the surface of any oil, dust, rust, or grime. For best results use aerosol delivered solvents or degreasers (brake cleaner, engine degreaser or any other rapid evaporating degreaser). Do not use citrus based solvents, as they may leave behind a film.
WOOD: clean surface, remove loose debris or re-paint.
CONCRETE: clean with solvent, use a concrete sealer, paint, or primer if porous.
METAL: clean with solvent.
Cutting the corners to the product may prevent damage, or being kicked up. If you do not think the surface is a suitable surface for a peel and stick application, we suggest using button head self tapping screws to help secure the grip. If you're questioning the surface and would like to ask our specialist, please feel free to contact us with any questions.
